BMW Recalling K1300 GT

• BMW of North America announces to recall the 2009 K1300 GT and K1300 S models over the problem of the motorcycle’s vibration that could cause the brake fluid in the front reservoir to foam and reduce braking ability.

• The K1300 GT has a base MSRP of $18,800 while the K1300 S sells for a base MSRP of $15,250. The bikes were manufactured between Oct. 1, 2008 and May 1, 2009.

• BMW has not yet provided a remedy or notification schedule. It will be announced soon. The owners of BMW K1300 GT and K1300 S may contact BMW at 800-831-1117 to learn more.

• Honda’s newV4 bike has been leaked in the internet before the bike being sold next year. The all-new V4-powered Honda VFR1200 is built based on the V4 concept that was shown a few months ago. The new bike is ensured by Honda to bring new class technologies. MCN reported that the bike comes with features such as cylinder deactivation, ride-by-wire throttle and brakes, electronically adjustable suspension, C-ABS and perhaps even an airbag.

• Although there no official words, but we assumed that the bike will be a competitor for the Kawasaki 1400GTR supersport touring. Previously we has reported that Kawasaki rumeored to update its 1400GTR supersport touring for 2010 model year. This could be an indication that Kawasaki has understood about the present of Honda VFR1200.

• The new F 800 GS adventure tourer proves its capability as unstoppable machine. It is much better off-road ability than its bigger brother, the Boxer BMW R1200GS. BMW F 800 GS is supported by taller wheels (a 21- and 19-inch front/rear), longer dimension, and not much lighter, but is far narrower with its upright parallel twin. • Starting at $10,520, the F 800 GS is also $4,000 cheaper than the bigger brother. And yet, it is also supported by range of adventure accessories including great expandable locking hard bags, GPS and a low-seat option. It looks like BMW F 800 GS has the best combination.

This is the same as what Gilera GP850 does in bigger scooter class. Named Honda Faze 250, the new Honda scooter has showed off its face in the internet. It could be the most serious performer scooter in its class. This meant big power.

• Honda Faze 250 superscooter is armed with a liquid cooled, single cylinder 4-valve four-stroke and 30bhp engine. The engine is wrapped with a tubular steel double-cradle frame with a twin shock set-up at the rear and frame is wrapped with big looking body.

• Riding on 13-inch wheels and underseat storage are could be something ordinary. But look at the braking system. It features Honda’s combined braking system (CBS), while the ABS is also available as an option. It also promises a low riding experience with its low seat height of 755mm.Well, it so perfect 200cc scooter… unfortunately the prices and specifications are yet to be announced.
